José Luis García-Galera has been the Executive Vice President of Operations at VTTI since January 2023. He is responsible for the company’s overall project management and operations across VTTI’s entire portfolio.  

Before VTTI, José had a varied career with BP, culminating in his role as Managing Director of the Ruhr Oel GmbH subsidiary in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. He had full responsibility for refinery operations and delivery of the financial plan, building on previous positions as Vice President of Refining, Operations Manager, and Lead Engineer. He started his career with Repsol as a planning engineer.
