We have a responsibility towards stakeholders to run our business professionally, understand the dynamics of our environment and respond to changes in the world around us.
Ownership
VTTI was founded in 2006 and is incorporated in the Netherlands. VTTI is indirectly owned by IFM Global Infrastructure Fund (“IFM”), Vitol Holding B.V. (“Vitol”), Vitol Investment Partnership II Ltd, an investment vehicle sponsored and managed by Vitol (“VIP”), and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (“ADNOC”). Our shareholders are one of our key differentiating factors as they have deep experience in the energy business and provide unique and valuable market insights into global industry dynamics.
Governance
VTTI is managed by an independent Leadership Team led by CEO, Guy Moeyens. The Leadership Team is responsible for the day-to-day business management of the organisation. It sets the mission, vision, purpose, and strategy for the company.
In addition to the Leadership Team, the company has a Supervisory Board. The Supervisory Board oversees and advises on the policies, performance and decision making of the Leadership Team and supervises the management, general affairs and business of the company.
We have an active Supervisory Board and a dedicated Leadership Team, regular meetings between key leadership team members and operational management, structured and short reporting lines, standard financial and non-financial reporting, various internal soft and hard control procedures, and a structured process for reviewing investment opportunities. Our processes and interactions include discussions on key risks and priorities, risk mitigation and opportunities for both financial and non-financial issues as well as analysis of these issues.
