Today, Guy Moeyens has been appointed as the new CEO of VTTI, taking over from Rob Nijst who, as previously announced, has elected to leave the company.
Guy is an accomplished international executive with an established track record of leading and transforming major global and regional integrated chemicals and fuel value chain businesses.
With more than 32 years’ experience in the international energy sector, he has lived and worked in multiple countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and America.
Previously, he served for 30 years in various roles at BP, where his last position was Chief Operating Officer for Fuels in Europe and Southern Africa. In January 2021, Guy joined ADNOC, one of VTTI’s shareholders, where as Executive Vice President Downstream and Asset Management, he was responsible for ADNOC’s Downstream Operating Companies and for the overall integrated value chain optimisation. In this role, Guy also represented ADNOC on the VTTI board which provided him with valuable insight into VTTI and its shareholders.
Together with the experienced and talented VTTI team, Guy looks forward to using his knowledge and energy to lead VTTI into the next phase of the company, working in close cooperation with its shareholders and building on an ambitious growth and diversification strategy including capitalising on opportunities arising from the energy transition.
