VTTI is working towards a sustainable future with VTTI Bio-Energy Tilburg (VBT), our new state-of-the-art renewable natural gas production facility. The facility is developed to process organic side streams, such as manure from the region and leftovers from the food and feed industry, and will produce about 23 million m3 of biomethane per year. Part of this biomethane will be upgraded to RNG for delivery to the Dutch gas grid.

Another part of the energy generated  will be utilized to produce dry pelletized organic fertilisers, which are essential for regenerative farming and the re-use of valuable minerals. VTTI Bio-energy Tilburg will produce approximately 40.000 tonnes of valuable dry pelletized organic fertiliser per year.

Strategically located in the feedstock area, the facility contributes to reducing transportation, as well as greenhouse gas emissions.
