What we do
At VTTI’s energy storage terminals, we safely store, blend and process energy products and facilitate the offloading and onloading of these products to ships, trains, trucks and pipelines at key crossroads of trade. We have terminals that are equipped to handle conventional fuels – from crude oil, to liquified petroleum gas, to industrial chemicals – as well as new energies such as biofuel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Overall, we offer our customers 9.1 million cubic meters of storage capacity.
The 2020s are a pivotal time for the energy transition, and we believe that ‘transitional fuels’ such as liquefied natural gas (LNG) will be a vital part of reducing carbon emissions globally and providing energy security. VTTI is ensuring the right infrastructure is in place to facilitate this shift, including LNG terminals at critical locations.
Alongside this, we are investing in groundbreaking projects to generate sustainable energies ourselves, including renewable natural gas (RNG). We are also moving forward with hydrogen and exploring other projects in waste-to-value. With our approach to energy infrastructure in a changing world, we are paving the way for an even more successful, energy-secure and sustainable future.
